True enough. This seems like someone just trying to get grant money, or their name in the annals. How does this advance understanding, or turn the corner on a treatment? Right, it doesn't. So, being fatigued causes decreased ability to pay attention? Wow! Next thing they will tell us is that sleep deprivation and its inevitable sequelae; decreased neurotransmitter levels (including serotonin), and lower serum glucose , makes us cranky and tired.
