Poor User Interfaces Really Do Kill People
From my new favorite online publication: The Risks Digest[Due to] the crew's misunderstanding of a laptop computer tool... The crew unwittingly transferred and used weight data from the aircraft's previous flight while calculating performance criteria for the next take-off.... The aircraft failed to lift off after rotation and... All seven crew were killed.So that's why they don't let you use your laptop during takeoff and landing!
